The price Tag of Rs. 13,99,000 has been achieved due to tireless working of the project team by using best material along with advanced technologies, which have kept the price under budget without compromising the quality and output. This price tag will help IKM to mark its dominance in litre-class Supersports category. Also, the budding riders who are looking for upgrade will find this litre-class very affordable.

Combined with Kawasaki’s proprietary dynamic modelling program, input from the IMU enables precise chassis orientation awareness, the key to bringing Kawasaki’s electronic rider aids to the next level. Feedback from the IMU enables the addition of the Kawasaki Cornering Management Function. This function uses KIBS and S-KTRC to assist riders in tracing their intended line through the corner.

New Ninja ZX-10R with More Power introduced

26th April 2019 India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd. (IKM) announces 20MY all New Ninja ZX-10R which is all set to roar in India with 203 PS (with RAM air 213 PS). The previous Ninja ZX-10R had 200 PS (with RAM air 210 PS).

New Ninja ZX-10R beautifully caters the image of well-known Supersport model. It has justified the image of Supersport by winning FIM Superbike World Championship (World SBK) four times (2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018) in a row. Equipped with championship-proven technology New Ninja ZX-10R will surely dominate the streets of India.

New Ninja ZX-10R continues to be a locally assembled model. The Ninja ZX-10R has already set the benchmark of locally assembled Supersport for IKM’s Plant. Assembly of New Ninja ZX-10R will raise the standard to new level.

Ninja ZX-10R reproduces the image of Production Model used in world superbike racing championship, enabling customer to enjoy the same experience of WSBK racing. This has been possible by continuous monitoring of Race data, its analysis and thus embedding the same in research and producing the improved successor.

New Ninja ZX-10R will be introduced in KRT edition, its ex-showroom price and specifications will be released in due course of time. Customers can pre-book New Ninja ZX-10R for an amount of Rs. 1,50,000 at the authorized dealership of IKM and customers can expect the delivery of the bike by mid of June 2019. The pre-booking facility is open from 26th April 2019 till 30th May 2019. As this bike will be produced in limited numbers in first lot, the bookings will be closed after reaching targeted numbers.

Kawasaki announces price increase

22nd March 2019: India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd. (IKM), one of the largest premium motorcycle manufacturers in India, announces up to 7% increase in price on select models, which will be effective on ex-showroom Delhi price and from April 1, 2019.

IKM strives hard to keep the price of its models very competitive in the India market. However, due to increasing costs of raw materials and fluctuations in foreign exchange rates, IKM is compelled to change the price of our models.

In the recent times IKM launched two models, namely Ninja ZX-6R and Versys 1000, at very competitive prices. The new prices will be disclosed on the website of IKM on April 1, 2019.

Kawasaki’s Ninja H2R to be delivered in India

2nd March 2019: India’s one of the largest premium motorcycle manufacturers Kawasaki will deliver, the most powerful production in the world, Ninja H2R in India on 3rd March 2019. The first four-stroke, supercharged motorcycle from a major manufacturer, the Kawasaki Ninja H2R produces once unheard of power for a factory-built motorcycle. It’s truly Built Beyond Belief.

Built with exquisite craftsmanship, the Ninja H2R has the combination of intense acceleration and supersport-level circuit handling. Created without compromise, the in-house-designed engine has highly efficient, motorcycle-specific supercharger which is the key to achieve maximum power and the intense acceleration. The supercharger’s high efficiency and minimal heat gain meant that an intercooler was unnecessary, which also greatly saves weight and space. The whole engine was designed to accommodate the higher air pressure from the supercharger as well as ensure a high reliability with the over 300 PS output. The total 13,000 mm2 area of dual ram air duct illustrates how much air is required to achieve the over 300 PS output.

Kawasaki India reveals price of the Versys 1000

12th Feb 2019 India’s largest premium motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki announces the price of Versys 1000. Popularly known as “any road, any time”, the Versys 1000, available in pearl flat stardust white/metallic flat spark black colour, will be sold at Rs. 10,69,000 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi).

Kawasaki’s Rideology philosophy focuses on rider-centric development of legendary machines. This philosophy is visible in the Versys 1000, a crossover sport model of Ninja 1000, which has engine and chassis designed to maximise riding enjoyment on the street. And to offer sporty riding experience with even greater confidence, new Kawasaki’s top-level electronic rider support, which includes Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), Electronic Cruise Control, and Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF) etc. plays a pivotal role.

Deliveries of the Ninja ZX-6R commenced

2nd Feb 2019 India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd. announces commencement of deliveries of sublime road supersport Ninja ZX-6R from 1st week of February 2019. In November 2018, the Ninja ZX-6R debuted with pre-booking facility and the price was announced on 15th January 2019.

The 636cc inline four-cylinder DOHC engine has been optimized for the street and the track, offering an exhilarating experience in a wide range of riding situations. The Ninja ZX-6R features new gearing which makes more fun on the street and winding roads. Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) is a standard equipment, complementing advanced rider support technology like 3-mode Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), Power Mode selection and Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS). Besides, Bridgestone’s latest sport tyres BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S22 contribute to lighter handling, while offering superior grip in both dry and wet conditions, which translates to greater rider confidence and enjoyment.

Kawasaki India reveals introductory price of the all-new Ninja ZX-6R

15th Jan 2019 India Kawasaki reveals the price of all-new Ninja ZX-6R in India. In October 2018, the entry of the Ninja ZX-6R was announced with pre-booking facility. Designed to deliver the fun and excitement of a supersport machine to a wide range of riders, the Ninja ZX-6R offers superior performance and provides riding exhilaration in situations ranging from the track to the hills and the highway to the city.

Mr. Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director, India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd said, “We are happy to introduce Ninja ZX-6R, which has done remarkably well in WorldSSP racing competitions. It not only had good number of pole positions, but also won the championship twice in last four years. While the Ninja ZX-6R is performing well in various international racing competitions, we are sure our customers in India will enjoy riding this supersport bike. 11th Nov 2018 India Kawasaki Motors announces a launch of MY19 KLX140G in India. The KLX140G motorcycle offers full-size capability in a durable and lightweight package. At over 30 pounds lighter than other off-road bikes with full-size wheels, the KLX140G offers confidence-inspiring capability to take on variety of terrain.

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors, said, “Kawasaki has legendary history of dirt bikes. The KLX140G is ideal for every beginner who is willing to gain experience of trail riding. The beginners normally are adults and big youth of all sizes. The air-cooled engine eliminates the need for radiators while keeping the chassis slim and lightweight. The 144cc engine also provides strong torque ideal for learning riders. Versys 1000 to be made available in pearl stardust white

19th Nov 2018 India Kawasaki Motors would like to inform all the stakeholders that the Versys 1000 MY2020 will be made available in pearl stardust white colour instead of candy steel furnace orange. On 16th November 2018, the Versys 1000 MY2020 was launched in candy steel furnace orange colour with pre-booking facility.

Speaking on the change in availability colour, Mr. Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd., said, “The Versys 1000 in candy steel furnace orange is discontinued for India. Hence the decision has been taken to bring the Versys 1000 in pearl stardust white colour.”
