Mumbai, December 24th, 2015: India Kawasaki Motors (IKM) launched two new models to further strengthen its presence in India’s premium motorcycle market – the Versys650 and the KLX110.

The Versys650 combines a long-travel suspension and sporty 17” wheels, a slim, upright riding position and a low-mid range focused Parallel-Twin engine that results in a highly versatile package able to offer riders maximum riding excitement in a wide variety of street-riding situations, especially on twisty mountain roads.

The KLX110 is an off-road motorcycle and its bodywork emulates the flagship motocross KX450. With a powerful 112cm3 engine, low seat height, long travel suspension and a centrifugal clutch, this motorcycle is versatile and fun to ride.

In India, the Versys650 will be imported as completely knocked down units (CKD) from Thailand and will be manufactured by India Kawasaki Motors, while the KLX110 is imported directly from Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Japan as completely built unit (CBU). The Versys 650 will be retailed through the existing Probiking Sales network operated by Bajaj Auto Limited. The KLX110 will be sold solely through the IKM Sales network. The Versys 650 and KLX110 will be priced at Rs. 660,000 and Rs.265,000 (ex-Showroom Delhi) respectively.
